Being lazy in the heat....
Hotter than hot today. You couldn't move without sweating. I feel like such a weenie hiding in the air conditioned house....the heat never seemed to bother me much before. So I stayed in the house and proceeded to heat it up by cooking and baking a bunch of things. Very logical, huh?
Goats' production is still down a bit. Maybe the heat bothers them too. All they have is shady oaks to hide under. The new buck is hanging out with the others now. Wish he'd get busy being a buck....I need kids next year. Can't have my big "girls" get away without giving me kids. It was such a bummer feeding them and not getting kids. Yes, that sounds harsh but that's what their job is.....giving me kids and milk and I give them lots of good food (for goats that is....)
The projects are still sitting out there half done but it's just so much easier to bake a cake than drag my lazy butt out in the sweat-filled sun. Well, here's to laziness and eating cake!
